I totally adore her appearance at the Chanel Haute Couture show, rocking the place in a Chanel Cruise 2013 denim dress with exaggerated hips, studded Louboutin flats, a cute black chapeau, a side swept ponytail and red lipstick! So simple yet so chic!

It's a fantastic style inspiration, isn't it?

Mary Katrantzou: The woman in the room

In her previous collection, Mary Katrantzou tried to put the "room on the woman". For AW11, Mary decided to take us inside these hedonistic rooms which inspired her spring collection. Her fantasies about the truly glamourous lives and possessions of high-society women Diana Vreeland, Babe Paley and The Duchess of Windsor, led Mary to draw inspiration for her prints and silhouettes from the most polished and excessive objects found in the apartments of the elite, such as Fabergé eggs, Meissen porcelain, cloisonné enamel, and Ming vases. Nipped-waist jackets, the most amazing high-waist flares, full skirts, and jacquard knits that were all matched and mismatched together beautifully. The prints were so real and vivid that instantly gave life to the clothes on the runway. She is definately the star of the prints.

I have always been a huge fan of Mary, but this time she left me speechless. Her collection was the highlight of London Fashion Week. This was undoubtedly Mary's moment, and due to her talent, creativity and perfectionism she made all the Greeks proud of her. 

Ms Katrzantzou that was an excellent collection!! Congratulations!! You are a great artist and a true inspiration!!!

Yellow Soled Christian Louboutin

Christian Louboutin heels may be known for their instantly recognisable red soles but the  distinguished accessories designer has also created a new yellow-soled shoe, especially for Selfridges, and the yellow colour matches Selfridges signature ‘Pantone 109’ yellow.

This special pair of heels is set to become the centre of Selfridges freshly opened, innovatively designed Shoe Gallery, and will be housed in a mock apartment, created to represent the French designer’s workspace.

The yellow soled iconic peep-toe will be available exclusively at Selfridges while stocks last.
